The word Tarot conjures many meanings and images. From scarf-laden fortune tellers full of chunky jewelry at the carnival to the ominous Death and Ten of Swords cards found in movies, hinting at an unhappy ending for the character. This esoteric practice is steeped in history, beginning in the late 13th century. Many sites offer free information if you are interested.
A friend introduced me to Tarot with a reading and then gifted me my first deck. I couldn’t tell you why it drew me in, only that I became hooked. Soon, I could counter her weekly readings with my own. I spent my free time learning the core words for each card and studying the images, letting my intuition find other meanings.
I began gathering more decks, and now I have around twenty. This number is still considered small for many longtime readers. After a few years, I designed my own deck and tarot cloth, led by my love of beautiful beaches and tropical settings. You can find these on my Etsy page:BeachesandBeyond
I am now offering tarot readings for $50.
These will include a private link to a YouTube specifically for you and your question. Two decks and at least one oracle deck will complete a multi-card spread. The video will run between 20 – 30 minutes, depending on the messages I receive from the cards. To order, send an email to contact@melissaann-writer.com with the following information: participant’s first name, question, and email to send the YouTube link when finished. An invoice will be sent with a link to pay by a secure online page. I will email the YouTube link to the reading within four days of payment received. (If I am unable to complete the reading in that time, you will be notified)
